I am in the same boat, need AC for the woman. Especially this weekend! If it were me I would just roll down the windows regardless, but sometimes the 911 does get warm.

It works great. I spent a long time deciding if I should order air conditioning 16 years ago on my RSA. Was it with the spirit of the car, and all.
But I have used it enough, and been VERY happy with it, so I am glad I did.

Nah! It's just that when you land a new job, and you're going to be leading a group of engineers, driving a Porsche when you still in your 20's seems a bit ostentatious. I don't think so at all, but you know - looks can be deceiving.
On a side note, the Honda S2000 would be a decent alternative perhaps. But I've never driven one...

interesting Murph - I am in the same boat. I just started a new job and need a daily driver. I have been driving a range rover classic and at 12-15mpg it is time for something else (I will keep it for out door activities). I am seriously thinking about a 964 cab or coup but feel a little bad about showing up to work or client locations with it. Not sure what message it will send. Interestingly enough, the cars are far less expensive than all the newer ones that most people drive and are far more fun!
