"I'd recommend new wheels as these are considered the least favorite Porsche design."
Ohhh...I'm devastated.

$10K! plus 28% UK tax and $800 shipping = $13600 (£6800) you'd be lucky to find a very, very tired SC for that. take a look ...http://pistonheads.com/sales/list.as...dist=&nodays=0

Hey folks,
You beat me to it I'm new to C2's and just went for a test drive in a cab today. I've already contacted this seller about taking a look.
That said, can anyone offer thoughts on the high mileage? ~180,000. The ad sounds honest, and oil leaks aren't such a big surprise and some exterior bumps and scratches are no problem for me. I wasn't looking for a concours car, rather something to really drive. I presume a leak-down in the PPI is a good indicator of lifespan?
Cheers!

Thanks! She's a sweetheart. Part of the test drive today was to get an idea if she would fit in the back with the rear seats folded down. I think I can make up something to put behind the driver's seat (thanks to my short legs) to extend the rear bench and she'll have plenty of comfy space.
In the 924T she loves standing on the folded rear seat and getting a bird's eye view with her head out the sunroof.
Sheepdogs are some of the sweetest and most thoughtful animals on earth (of course, I might be biased). Congratulations on your new edition!
