Just been on over and it looks good. Perhaps you could also have a little fun section for RS alike recreations and then at least I'd be able to get mine on ther too

Now the better weather (!) is here, I'll keep an eye out for you as you can't be too far away........

Thumbs up

Martin-
Well done! Nicely polished.

--And the majority of the photos in your gallery are astonishing.
It's like being led down the aisle of some Porsche candy store.

I'll be back.

Edit-
Out of curiosity: Do registries ever keep track of cars that are no-longer/deceased/wrecked? Even as a separate tally?

Thanks for the comments. I do have some details of cars that have been through the wars. (Some repaired, some not) but i don't have a tally to hand.

I must admit i hadn't thought of an RS 'recreations' section but it is certainly worth thinking about for the future!

Martin

Wonderful site Martin. Congratulations. I think you missed a model version: the 1991-92 RS Sport (not the Clubsport) and was offered at the same time of the Touring. I know very little about it, but I'm sure I have an article of it somewhere.

Hi Zico

The model you are referring to is more commonly known as the Lightweight or Basic version. To my knowledge Porsche themselves have never referred to it as a Sport. (But i could be wrong!)

Martin. yes, yes you are right! Now that you mentioned and after seeing your location, I remember. The Lightweight version = Sport version. However the name "lightweight" was marketed by Porsche Cars Great Britan. The name "Sport" was used in other Countries, like Germany. It was the basic specification of the RS that gave the 3 M000 options.
