I went with the one piece design shown here...

https://rennlist.com/forums/964-forum/407066-fabspeed-evo-strut-brace.html

Ran into a bit of a challenge on the install, but I am confident that a bit of work and tweaking will take care of it.

Heigo is light weight and adjustable. I had it on my old C4 and it worked great. That would be my first choice. On my RSA I have a Weltmeister bar which does the trick, it is also adjustable, but it's a little heavier. You can get a used bar for a little over $100 these days.

I think mine is a Schnell, bit beefy, but as Advanced didn't have plans for their carbon fibre at the time its what I went for, cost about £100 from EBay.

Fitted a treat first time, no issues

That site (belongs to Robmug on here) can be a bit tricky to navigate. Here's the page you are looking for:

http://www.advancedcarproducts.com/products.asp?cat=17

Scroll down towards the end. This looks like the brace I've just bought and will be fitting this weekend. I'll post pics when I've done it.

Mine came from RUF. Very nice piece - easy fit - provided that needed measure of stiffness on my Targa.

Sorry if I'm hi-jacking this thread...but in a C4 Cabrio like my car, are there any gains from installing a strutbar?
I'm doing about 5-8 trackdays a year.

Yes. Be even better if you welded mounts for a removable brace in the back seat area I was told.
