Default Fabspeed Evo Strut Brace

Has anyone tried one of these? Looks very strong. It makes more sense to me than the 3 piece ones with the hinges on both sides. I would imagine there is more flex with 3 sections, than the one solid bar.

These are a copy of the matter gt2 evo bars. I have seen the original .. and it looks exactly the same. Anyone have any expeience or thoughts?

Thanks.

Ive got a lookalike of the one in the pic, not a fabspeed one.
Fits perfectly and looks good.

I have also seen them. However, I wonder whether the adjustability of the usual strut braces is not useful for corner weighting / setting up the suspension properly?

@Anatol
You do not adjust anything with a strut brace. Corner weight and alignment is done on/via the struts and such.

@CarreraCup03
I share your opinion vs the hinged versions. Even though the fabspeed brace is flat at each end wich in my opinion is not optimal. (No experience only thoughts...)

Jan, I just recieved the Fabspeed one. It is very thick and well made. I have a thinner 3 piece version on the car now .. just does not look as sturdy. I had the Matter factory 3 piece rs version on my cup car ... and the center piece was well made and strong ... but the two side pieces were flimsy. A one piece attatchement seems like it makes the most sense. I am guessing there is less flex in the large diameter pipe.

I have the Fabspeed version and it works well. I borrowed a factory matter one from someone awhile back and was going to make my own. I went as far as finding the correct diameter turbing and finding someone who would bend it for me. The Fabspeed is an accurate replication of the original Matter one and I have no issues with it. One side has holes and the other is slotted so there is room for variations in the chassis. It will clear the Fuel Safe 17 gallon fuel cell, I don't know about the stock tank or any other fuel cell though.

It fits perfectly in my car with a standard fuel tank.

That does look good. What brand are your Moton canister mounts?

For $29.99 per clamp I dont think you can beat them http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/..._p_0-1564.html
They seem very well made and come in a few sizes.
These same clamps made for a Porsche are $250.
