First, set things up like you were doing a brake bleed:

and then reach up and bleed the clutch...

Ensure your fill the fluid reservoir ALL the way to the top, and then some as the fluid pickup is quite high in the reservoir. In other words, its quite easy to suck air even though there is still a fair amount of fluid in the reservoir.

Bleeder valve is on top of the trans, a little forward of the engine/transmission flange, seems more on the drivers side. Easiest way I have found to do the bleed is on jack stands, drivers rear wheel off, and it is an all left handed job. I take the rubber cap off of the slave, break the bleeder free with a 7mm, hook line up, let it flush till clean, check fluid level, bleed again and tighten bleeder. I use a motive pressure bleeder, and it has worked well.

How bad was the fluid? Just curious, as mine seems to be really black every time I flush, and I tend to do it at least 3 times a year. I am replacing master this week to attempt to fix a hard 1st engagement issue. Hope it feels better.

It looked like crap Davis. This is the first time I've done it myself and not the last. The last time the car was in for service, I asked to bleed the brakes and clutch. I now know the job wasn't done right. The fluid started out being dirty yellow then green and FINALLY blue! I have not tried the car it's snowing here right now.
