Default Size of wheel bearings

I am going to change wheels bearing on my 1991 C2 cabrio and would like to find out their size and specifications so I do not have to buy them at the dealer and can buy them before removing them.

Thanks a lot.

I'd be careful with which bearings you select. We've been seeing premature failure of bearings from Rueville and SKF, but not as much with ***. I think that some of the manufacturing has been moved to emerging countries as indicated on the bearing and that perhaps the quality control of the materials processing may not be to the same standard as when the processes were in Europe.

Pelican is showing the fronts for $28 each:

and the rears for $37:

Can you save much by going somewhere else?

Well, is not just for the money, it's more of how easy is to buy them in Spain. It's easy to buy bearing by their size and specifications, but there are not many sources for Porsche parts outside the dealer.

How much are they at the dealer?

Much of SKF's stock is made in Spain, ironically.

We have great companies and factories in Spain, but not much automobile passion and none DIY, so sources for parts are not very adequate
