Default Clutch pedal adjustment

Having an issue on my C2 that feels like a clutch adjustment issue. The pedal is inconsistent. Sometimes you push it down and its perfectly fine, other times it does not completely disengage the clutch and wont return back to the top on its own. On other cars I have owned, the was fixed with a pedal adjustment, however I do not see an obvious spot to make the adjustment.

So, would you guys agree with this, and if so, is there a way to adjust it?

Do a search in this forum for "slave cylinder bleed" and you'll get all sorts of ideas. Good luck!

+1 on clutch slave bleed. My $0.02 is to go buy a Motiv Power Bleeder then flush your entire brake and clutch system. I did this soon after getting my C2 and was able to tell an immediate improvement.

I agree that you should bleed your clutch slave cylinder 1st. The workshop manual refers to a boost spring in the pedal cluster that can be adjusted by rotating the hex socket head bolt. The clearance between the screw and pivot should be 6MM.

You might also want to check the roll pin that attaches the pedal to the cross shaft. Its a pretty common problem.
