Default 965 front dics offset ect ?

Hi guys ,
I dicided to fit AP slotted dics on the front ,the sizes available are 330 x32 or 330x28 I am thinking of the 2sd option if it will work with the pads( calipers are 928 gts) ,also I will have the alluminium hats made and I need some help with dimentions, offset and thickness for the hats ,Bill or Geoffrey would you guys have any info?

i would stick with 330x32 as this is the stock size for the turbo (and RS) othersie you run the risk of the extending the pistons out of the caliper when the pad is worn down.

Let me know if you are going to do a set of hats i would also like to get a pair to mount AP discs with ( i can soure the disc locally in the US)

Ok rob, no probs the more we have made the better the price will be,it may still be ok with 28 mm it is only 2.5 mm on each side of the pistons but I haven't got any experience maybe it is a matter of changing the pads soner and keep checking the thickness of them .by the way do you know that "Woodright racing" and" CDOC" are making the complit disc with alloy hat for 680 $each

Why would you want 28mm rotors if 32 is what you need and also available?? I would also be interested but how many set of discs can you go through before changing hats and how much are rotor replacement??

Hi, here in Uk the AP dics are 220,00 £ per disc ( inc VAT) ,I don't think you would need to change the hats unless something as damage them like if a few bolts came lose ?!! I was thinking 28mm because of the weight difference but if it is a headeck I will stick to 32 ( sorry 2 mm each side )

If I remember correctly, under track use hats are good for 3 to 4 set of rotors. I might be wrong!!

Will the 330 work? The stock being 322 i would think the additional .156 radius would hit the caliper.

the calipers will accept a narrow range of rotors, I think that I have seen 330x32 w/ big reds

be carefull 330x34 is also a common size and it will cause a problem because of theextra 2mm thickness
