Good to know....the suspension in question is actually off my 91 turbo and is billstein HD's with custom H&R springs (I went JIC recently). Aeroman....if you're still interested the price just dropped!

Me thinks the main difference between the turbo 3.6 and the turbo 3.3 front strut is the diameter of one or both of the mounting holes. I believe the bolt was increased in size for the 3.6. I have read that RUF recommended just drilling the hole larger to fit a 3.3 strut on the 3.6. Not sure of the issues going the other direction though it should "fit".

damping may have changed also. i noticed that there was some play on the top hole by design on my 91 prob for alignment. i really doubt the 3.6 part on a 3.3 would pose an issue for most. 993 uprights for me some day. luckily with the jic i should be able to swap out the lower portion for 993.
