Default TraqMate brake sensor

Anyone know where I can tap into a convenient spot to get a signal for brake light use to route to my TraqMate?

I would like to tap into the brake light signal just to detect brake use (not actual brake pressure via a brake position sensor). Is there anywhere convenient I can access a brake light that can be run to my TraqMate (mounted under the passenger seat)? I would just run it into a digital (on/off) input of the TraqData sensor.

Thanks.

Marc

I would suggest removing the pedal board in your car and splicing in at the switch itself.

Thanks Geoff.

I was hoping I could access something in the cabin easily - I assume any microswich/wire for the brake is pretty evident once I removed the board below the pedals?
