Default throttle response improvement with chip?

Will a chip (Steve Wong or Steve Weiner) help the throttle response, especially
off the line? This is for my 92 C2. Any first-hand experiences? Thanks,
Vaughan

Definitely yes- but possibly not.

You will end up with a system that's rigid yet flexible.

What do you mean by 'throttle response'?

If you do a search, you'll find some, er, spirited threads on this topic, even recently...

I don't think a dyno test would necessarily determine throttle response. Perhaps on a programmable engine dyno.

Maybe we can write a new SOP to test this response

The absolute best way to improve a felt throttle response at any RPM is to reduce the weight of the car.

(come on guys, let's be constructive - even Christer was trying!!)

Maybe a LWF would help more with "throttle response" as power output or acceleration was not the requested goal.

Ok, sorry.
Marc is right the throttle response can be changed the best with the LWF.
You are reducing the mass the engine has to overcome to spin therefor it "response" faster

A lightweight flywheel helps a lot in 1st gear for throttle response, somewhat in 2nd, then it's not much different from there... it all helps, though...
