i have some 964 gauges which i would like to wire up into my 1987 3.2 problem is i have wiring diagrams for the instrument cluster for the 1987 3.2 but nothing for the 964 instruments, has anyone done this mod if so could you please help me with the eiring or rven a wiring diagram of the 964 instrument cluste

You'll need to find out which year the gauge is from and then look in the factory wiring diagram manual which will give you all of the pinouts for the gauges. As an FYI, the fuel gauge on the C2 works differently than the older 911.

Where are you ?
I have the factory wiring diagram book for the 89 .
I went to the local porsche repair shop and he had wiring diagrams for all the years in a great big book .
A collection of many year by year books in a larger book , it must have cost him a small fortune to buy them all .

Is there a "central informer" in the 87. All the warning lights in the gauges are controlled by it as is the fuel level gauge. The speedometer requires the "frequency transformer for control unit M249". Send me a PM with your email and I'll see what I can send you.
