Default Brake Pad Match

I just ordered some PBR Metal Master brake pads for my 92 C2 from Vertex and they sent me the same pads for both the front and rear. They are telling me that they will fit. Is this correct?

All C4s and late C2s have 4 piston calipers as standard on front and rear. Although the front calipers have larger pistons they use the same pads. Your 92 car should have 4 piston calipers on the rear so, yes the pads will be the same for front and rears.

The early C2s have two piston calipers on the rear and therefore need smaller pads.

Thank you for the quick reply. I was about to send the pads back.

If they don't slot straight into the rear (or front for that matter) it may well be that you have the famous corrosion behind the spring plates. Just wanted to give you the heads up on that one.
