i posted a thread a while back on pelican about importing these from europe. doing a group buy of 10 would have netted a large discount for all of us. they are carbon fiber units in which i cleared. no one seemed interested at the time so i purchased a set to try. overall i am happy with them. it is a big job to weld the doors up and repaint but i needed to fix a few things anyway so it wasnt that bad. there are a few places here in the usa that carry fiberglass and i have seen them in person to say these are alot better in a bodymans perspective.

Very nice. At some point of my 92 life I had the rear reflector just like that - all black. I used some kind of duct tape.

Do these mirrors utilize a manual adjuster inside the car? I'm interested in the mechanics of them. I purchased doors with the small mirrors built into them. The mirrors are worthless for seeing anything behind, but then they aren't adjusted all that well either.

You can buy smoke out paint to do the rear lights. VHT makes it. Its called NITE Shades black out. I just did mine. You can control the amount of colour by the number of coats you put on. It makes a big difference.

do to my lights cracking everywhere i decided i would try do make them look better and not pink. if it didnt work i would buy new ones. i actually used base tinted clear, wetsanded and buffed them. they got darker than i wanted but i had to do this to cover the cracks.

geoffrey, the mirrors have no adjustment **** and like yours are done via moving them by hand. i can see ok out of them but they are not like the old flags forsure. once i adjusted them after several trips they are no bad. i havent hit anyone yet so i guess that good.

I don't think it looks nice at all; send it to me and I'll fix it up properly.
