That's a 993 GT2 wing.

Not sure about the driver.

Yes, I know the owner. The car is a lightly modified 930.

Joey, is the lower part a 993GT2 wing with an extension tacked on as the upper part?

Does he need clearance from the tower before he takes off?

Tough crowd .. I also think it's a GT2 wing with extensions to raise it to close to roof level. If you don't like his, you'll hate mine.

I don't think he was coming from the Glen if he was on I-95 South in NY.

It may not look "correct", but that wing is very functional sitting high up in the clean air. I wish I could run a wing like that on my car, but it's not allowed.

What class would allow that sized wing?

Yes, Ruairidh.

David, I think you can only run such a wing in a GT class with PCA (or what Mark said ).

We were talking about that car at Pocono 2 weeks ago, thought the wing was a bit higher than allowed, thought it couldn't extend over the roof line?

Strange though, The Glenn event was Monday Tuesday for NNJR.

Quick Reply: Anyone recognize this wing and the car underneath it?
