Jaime,

How are you? we met on I-4 going to Rennsport a few weeks back, I was the one in the '93 C2, with the other red '90 Ruf C2.
Nice to see you here!!! Your 964 and that '90 Ruf C2 put my car to shame Going through my photos from Rennsport III, I forgot to take photos of the seats on the Ruf... any chance you can tell your friend to post a few here. Those seats were awesome, and very comfortable...

I will give them a call to see if they do cab tops and what they would charge for the install. There is another place on John Young, left on 408 and past the GM dealer...

Hi

I installed the cab top myself, however, it is not an easy job and after i installed it the first time, i removed it and reglued in a tighter position to get a better fit... f you're an absolute perfectionist, take it to a trimmer who has experience of fitting cab tops on 911's...

I'm happy with my end result, but in hindsight i wouldn't do it agin....

I can volunteer my house for a BBQ, Beer, Cheese and Wine. Just let me know what Sat or Sun you guys would like to do it. Or we can meet at a local Gator Dock or Hooters.

It was your thread that I had bookmarked in case I decided to tackle this myself... I replaced the evaporator in my car, very time consuming task... not sure how this will compare in complexity with that. But I can understand your comments on not doing again if you had to... I need to see what the cost of the install will be, that will drive if I do it or pay to have it done.

If you decide to do it yourself, drop me a line, i took photo's of every stage, so i could probably write a diy guide... At least i can warn you of what you might come across...

Good luck,

Once you learn how to do yours you can come by and do mine. I will even buy you a beer
OT: I am taking the Turbo in to the dealer on friday for an oil change. Figured I would get some use out of the 10% off coupon they sent me. They said they would give me a loaner. maybe i can get the halloween orange boxster they still have sitting there
Geoff of course we will send you pictures just to rub it in that we drive our cars year round

Hey- so do I, just not as much as you do. I don't store it, I just make sure there's gas and somewhat salt-less roads.

Bo. PLEASE write a DIY for us guys needing to change out our tops. You can then place it on the DIY site of this forum. That would be awesome!

I just dropped mine off (996TT) for the 60K service among other things. They gave me a Cayman S as a loaner... now, this one is much, much better than the basic Cayman I got last time.

Bo, I agree with the rest of the folks here, please write a DIY for us, if it is not too much trouble.
