Okay, I'll give it a shot.

That's an extremely rare and semi-famous variant--and with less than 300 miles on it! It's hard to place a value on it, though. There aren't a whole lot of these changing hands but, like anything, it's simply worth what someone is willing to pay.

Given its rarity, condition and uniqueness amongst 911's, I'm actually surprised it's only $159K. I'm not being facetious; that actually sounds like a good deal.

It's worth whatever anyone is willing to pay for it, seems to me it been for sale for a while. Do some research on what those really are.

That car has been for sale for quite a while. I would guess it will take a special customer to pop for that asking price. That car shold be in a museum...

159K is not bad for this car - it is a race/show peice only since it probably cannot be registered for the street (maybe show and shine, but would you really drive it on the street?)
i personally would buy this over a 996 cup, it is not a circuit racer but with some minor changes could be.
it is car #4 out of the series btw.

Any way to document this car with a Kardex? 964004 isn't much of a VIN.

What's kardex? My old 65 911 had a VIN of 300376... so simple!

PMNA or Porsche can validate the car, but you can also look it up in " R to RSR" by john starkley or " Excellence was expected" 2nd edition

I personally don't think it is worth much. It has zero racing history, and with the AWD and short gears, it is pretty worthless to actually race. Just because it is low volume, does not make it worth something.
