New member and car...with pics
Hi, I'm Toni from Singapore. Actually I'm German but live in Asia since 9 years and counting.
6 weeks ago I got my first Porsche - a 1990 C2 Coupe Tip -
Yes it's a tip but guess what, I came to appreciate the auto because of the fact that Singapore is a city state (and island) and whether I like it or not I spend too much time going from one traffic light to the next traffic light. That's probably also the reason why it took me that long to finally get a 964...hhmm and of course the fact that a Porsche costs here 2-3 times more than in Europe/NA.
So anyway, the car came with H&R Greens, Ruf front lip and steering wheel, dual exhausts and a faded GP white color...I got it completetly resprayed in basalt black, replaced some seals, put on some clear corners and brake vents, replaced the rear lights and upgraded to 18's... now 6 weeks later and XXXXSing$ lighter I am happy with the result. the sound, the drive and learning more about the car makes me grin every day
Oh and thanks to this forum it didn't take me ages to figure out what to do and where to get the parts. Marc Shaw and everyone who posted and replied my PM's on rennlist have been extremely helpful... makes me wonder how I got my hands on information before the internet was invented... seriously, from a newbie who just experienced it, this forum is a blessing when you want to build and maintain your Porsche.

..thanks for your comments guys.
Yes it's completely painted; checked all over the car but didn't find a spot with the original color.
The wheels are 18 x 8.5 front and 18 x 10 rear with 225/40 and 265/35. I went for a bit of a different look in anodized titanium color. Got those from a German Porsche tuner "AP-Car Design" so they directly bolt on the 964 without shims etc.

The exhaust pipes do stick out quite a bit at the rear - don't know the maker but will have a closer look.

forgot that the page (linked above) is probably in German only. To see the rims and cool 964 pics, click on the "AP Five Spoke Racing" box at the right column...btw. "mehr Bilder" means more pics.

Nice looking 964! The wheels really make the look. The exhaust tips look a lot like my Fabspeed? I think after these were bought for my car Fabspeed reduced the size of the tips a little? Not sure about that though.
