Default 964 RS thread

It is about time we start an RS thread for all of us to enjoy. Having swapped my C2 for an RS Clubsport earlier this year I am happy to share this baby with you:

The car is a Swiss delivery with 65000 km, Ferrari yellow, carbon front and rear lid, 993 RS gearbox with short gearing and a bit more oomph. And it is great fun (with ear protection if you want to understand your wife afterwards)!

The pics show the car with original mag rims but I run BBS race rims on the track and have a set of 1991 17" Cup wheels for future road use.

What would be your suggestion for the best color for the rims?

Awesome car
I'd go with black wheels, or just paint them yellow. Can't go wrong either way.
Did the tail come with the RS or did you swap it from your old car?

The tail is from my old car and the original bonnet and rear lid are safely stored away. Carbon is lighter - and cheaper...

Wow!

Why did you rotate the speedometer and not the tachometer?

I think you need to post some more pictures... Somewhere are 1280x960 pixels... My background needs a sprucing up.

Gorgeous car. I'd go for black wheels. Like this.

The tachometer is easy to see and I have a rev limit light installed. But due to the smaller diameter of the Momo wheel, I would not see speeds higher than 120 km/h indicated. So beyond parking speeds everything would be nirvana.

Thank you for your nice comments. I will certainly continue posting pics of my car. Just tell me when I have to stop.
