VERY nice cars around here, indeed!

Some further modifications I would like to mention:

993 RS gearbox with short gearing,

braided brake lines

full uniball suspension (in comparison, it was wallowy before...)

Stadler engine (the Swiss will know...)

Ruf shift lever

Stadler is a renowned outfit in Switzerland and has prepared Porsche cars for racing for decades. He is also an engine builder and even if an engine may still be 3.6l it will have substantially more power through blue printing. But he also does full house race engines...

Ilko

I don't know. I have been trying for a few years to gather information from the factory, but they aren't very helpful! Apparently, my car was used at Motor Shows etc, but until i can find the original registration number, i will never know.

Does anybody have any contacts in high places at Porsche in Germany? Long shot!

Regards
Martin

Is the originsl reg number not on the early service receipts?

I think a HPI check will list all the previous registration numbers?

Also, a fee paying enquiry (£5, I think) to the DVLA will get you copies of all the V5's for your car including and updates/changes...so this should include the reg. numbers as well.

Hope that helps!

Unfortunately, i don't have any bills from before i bought the car in 1998. The service history book is complete and from new the car was serviced by Porsche's own Competition Dept. I have an old MOT certificate that has a German reg number on it but that may be a number used to import the car, i don't know. Any ideas where to go from here?

Hi Adam

Does that not only list reg numbers in the UK? I didn't think it worked for imports.

Joe - there are 2 that I know of: a yellow one and a red one. Both are club raced in D class.
