Default C4 RSR Replica for sale over at Pelican

IMO a VERY reasonable price for what you get on a well documented, semi-famous car.. NO affiliation.

He's come down quite a bit. First thing I'd do with that car is give it a proper RSR interior.

Nice car but does he explain how he is getting a C4 to put down 250 to the wheels with just a chip and exhaust change. You would need 300 at the crank min to achieve this because it has at least an 18% drivetrain loss.

Unique toy, beautiful work and I hope he gets it but the interior detracts from the rest of it.

Wow, he really did drop the price significantly! It's a nice car and well worth the $40K to the right person. I agree with Anthony on the interior.

Well, that car truly takes my breath away. I am currently shopping for something fun and fast in the $25-$45 price range and have always been a fan of the RSR kits. Do these RSR replicas hold their values at all? What would it cost to install the correct interior? Would I be better of with a perfect 930 for $10k less instead of a pieced together replica? I currently own a 78 SC and am ready to move up to something a bit more substantial. I drove a 97 C4S ($47k) and it was so absurdly refined that I lost interest in it after a few minutes. Needless to say, that car sold the same day to another enthusiast at a great price. Also, I am test driving an 86' 930 with 400hp this Saturday for $25k in very nice condition as well. Originality and period correctness have always appealed to me, but this RSR makes me smile just looking at it.

I LOVE the exterior of that car!!! I assume this is the same guy that tried to sell it on ebay a few months ago?

It's hard to say whether it holds its value well. It's a one of a kind car, so demand really isn't that big, hence the long time that it's been for sale and the drop in price. But if that's the type of car you're looking for then just take the plunge

Sorry, I'm just not seeing it.

This car should sell in the low to mid 30's. I'd rather own a stock 964 C4 and modify to my satisfaction.
