Default dent removal recommendations: Chicago area?

Well, crap. I did it to myself this time —*I put my snow brush on the fuel tank hump today and then absent-mindedly closed the hood without moving the brush back down into the well. I now have a nice, shallow dimple in the top quarter of my hood from the ice scraper's point, just left of the middle. It pains me to even glance at it.

So:

1) Can PDR pull this out? Anyone had luck with similar dents?

2) Anyone in the Chicago area have a recommendation on a dent removal/body shop who does good work but charges reasonable rates on paintless removal?

Happy 4th, US owners—

I don't know about reasonable, so I strongly suggest you ask for a quote ahead of time, but I just had my car done by The Last Detail near Libertyville, IL.

The Last Detail

My car turned out incredible on some very gentle depressions on my hood and truck that they warned me they were not sure they could tackle. However, their dent removal guy who comes every Wednesday made everything disappear. They even have special detailing bays with wall mounted fluorescent lights that help them identify all the flaws in the bodywork.

wow, that certainly sounds like a good shop, Ricardo. Thanks for the quick response and recommendation. I'll have to give em a call for a quote.

Mshobe,

Let me know if you do any work at The Last Detail. Its very close to my house and it would be fun to get together and compare notes on our cars.

Will do — always like to meet another fan and check out their 964 if I get a chance.

Hey Ricardo—

Thought I'd let you know I stopped by TLD yesterday for an estimate; met Tom, the original owner, and was pretty impressed by their setup and especially his attention to detail. I'll be bringing my 964 back up there to have them actually complete the work in December some time. If you're still interested I'll let you know what Saturday I'm gonna make it there, and maybe we can meet up.

Shoot me an email or PM via Rennlist. I need some work done on my door catch mechanism that involves some small body work that I'd like TLD to look at.
