Passenger window stuck
First of all this is on my dad's 964. (I wouldn't have let it sit this long) Last year for the Portland Porsche Parade the passenger window got stuck in the up position. I want to say it's the motor but i'm not sure. My dad thinks it's the switch on the drivers side door. I checked the fuses and they are ok so does anybody have any ideas?
Thanks
Thanks

If the fuse is okay, try swapping the switch with the driver's door and that will tell you if it is the switch or not.
If it is not the switch, you'll probably have to remove the inner door panel to check the motor, ensure it is getting current and also to make sure that the scissor mechanism that lifts the glass is not jammed.

If it is the switch (my bet), simply remove the switch, disconnect it, disassemble it (watch out for sproingggg bits) and clean the electrical contacts. Reassemble. 20 minutes the first time; 5 minutes the next.

Happened to me. Passenger side, switch broke. Window open. Had to resort to the emergency window winder tool in the toolkit. Remove tweeter speaker, break plastic mebrane, wind up window.
Replaced broken switch with driver switch, still no movement.
My mechanic said that if one of the switches breaks, it can cause a failure in the circuit. Once he put a new switch in, it all works fine now. Good luck.

The passenger window is controlled both by the switch on the passenger door and the secondary switch on the drivers door.
The two switches controlling the passenger door, are serially connected, which means that if of them is broken then the window won't work.
Remove the switch for the drivers window and replace one of the switches for the passenger window, if that doesn't work try the other one.
If that works, then you know which one is broken.
