Default Indicator Bulbs - which ones

G'day all,
I've got some clear turn signals on the way but need to get some new bulbs that will flash orange.

Stupid me forgot to pop an existing one out this morning, so does anyone know the part number and wattage of the front indicator bulbs?

Standard Pins single filament.
I have seen the bulbs that are clear but flash orange, but I believe they are quite a lot more expensive than the amber bulbs

Front turn signal bulbs are model 7528 12V/5W double filament bayonet base - These bulbs look like they work nice with clear corners but at $30US thats 10x the cost of standard clear bulbs.

Front side marker bulbs are model 3893 12V/4W single filament mini bayonet base.

Philips make a very good quality Silver Vision that will do the trick. Much cheaper than importing from Pelican overseas... (though not as cheap as the orange ones... you can get them from large auto parts reatilers like Auto-Barn etc

Hi all,
My clear turn signals arrived today, very quick shipping from Zims, and I've got a couple of silvervision 12v 21w bulbs on the way thanks to fleabay.

But now I need a couple of little 12v 5w bulbs, with the flat push in connectors, and the things they push into.

My stock orange indicators dont have a hole for the side repeaters, rather I have the little rectangular ones above and behind the front wheel, on the front quarter panel.

So does anyone know where to get the socket for the side 12v 5w bulbs, which will then go into the clear indicators? I'll then need to wire them in with the front ones.

Although I can find the part number for the bulbs no worries ( 999-631-032-90-M97), I cant find a part number for the socket they push into.

Can anyone help?

Cheers
Adam

Yes mate, pelican doesn't list the part I'm after. shows the whole assembly fine, just not the wiring connectors (adaptor/holder?) that the bulb would push into, and then push and turn and lock into the side indicator...

OK Adam

lets try someone local. Bob Whyms claim they are Australia's largest supplier of parts (no affiliation). Click here and let me know if they're right! I have never bought from them, but have been recommended by another Rennhead.
