Default Aftermarket Knock Sensor For A Turbo

Hello,

I'm looking for a good aftermarket knock sensor for a turbo.

I was told that the Andial system is the way to go any input?

Also so is this a pretty easy DIY project?

I have a Haltech O2 wide-band in the car. This will allow me to check if the car is running to rich or lean. But I would think a good knock sensor would retard the timing if it detects pinging.

Thanks

You can check out JS Knockguard who make a stand alone knock retard system.

Indy, I have a new Euro RS rack in my car, but it is wired to use a GT3R electric power steering pump. I have an output from the MoTeC ADL that outputs a variable duty cycle signal to a PWM controller which will provide the power steering pump between 2 and 12 volts depending on the wheel speed and steering angle. I have found that I really don't need power steering, although I may install it at some point just to try out the electrics.

Thats a nice looking unit.
I'm not sure where you would mount the single knock sensor though? Wouldnt you need one on each bank?

Kirk
