What's the best way to make a old motor look new
Hello,
I am having some work down on my 3.6 and was wondering how to fresh'en up the exterior appearance of the motor. Since the motor has been dropped out of my car for maintenance. I was wondering if anybody would know how to make a old motor look new again. I have notice some members talking about beed blasting parts. I don't know if that would be the best thing to do to an air cooled motor? Any advice would be great. Sorry for the rookie question.
Thanks again.........

Clean all rubber hoses and coat them with 100% PURE silicone. Make sure that the silicone has NO petroleum additives. If you have a hard time finding it... Go to a hobby shop and ask for R/C monster truck shock oil. It will cost $5-$6 for a few ounces and it goes a long way!
