H&R spring identification
Hi all, my C2 has the bilstein HD's and H&R springs but I'm not sure which ones.
Mine are Black and were fitted before I got the car, I've searched a few forums but only found reference to the Red or Green springs.
I've had a look but not found any numbers on them, just the H&R name. The car also sits just a tad too high at the front, not much but I would like to lower it a bit to rs spec, the rear is perfect with the top of the tyre just in the arch.
I'd like to get it set up and lowered but cant move on until I find out what springs I have in case I have to change them to Reds etc, so if anyone knows what the Black springs are I'd love to know!.
Regards
Steve.

Hi Steve !
The shocks and springs came as a package. It is the 'standard' 964 Bilstein / H&R upgrade kit. It was originally supplied by PowerMarques to the previous owner (the invoice should be in the red folder !). It might be worth going back to them to see if they can give you more details ? That said I suspect you might have more luck with H&R themselves.
Otherwise I hope everything is going well and you're still enjoying the car.

Three Wheelin'
Just to confuse the issue a little I have a feeling that the H&R "green" springs are actually black in colour with small flashes of green. I don't think the whole spring is coloured green.

You forced me to go and have a look with a torch!! You are, of course, absolutely right. I just had an image in my head of a black spring with flashes of green paint - maybe it's on our BMW??
Apologies to all for creating the confusion.

Burning Brakes

Hi Jamie, yes I'm still loving it, just wished I'd done it sooner!its a great car and a credit to you. As suggested I did speak to the company who supplied the kit but they didnt know the spec, I'll try H&R next wk and see what I can find.
I'm at Snetterton Sat for its first track day so looking forward to that, I'm getting used to it now and the M3 feels nothing special in comparison, I did struggle with its understeer nature to start with but now I'm getting there.
Anyway thats enough about me, hows the new car?.
