That's a great shot of a beautiful car! I'd like to see that one on a calendar! GP White is the perfect color for race cars! Graphics work so well on a white background.

I know what you mean, even if a lot of the detail is irrelevant. However [tongueincheekmode] I do get the distinct impression that Loren worked as an NYPD interrogator in another lifetime, such is the skill with which he attempts to twist the facts to suit his needs. [/tongueincheekmode]
As someone who will spend an entire day looking for minute power gains anywhere in the rpm range I am obviously with Geoffrey in the "3hp is 3hp more than I had" camp, but my experience suggests that we are talking about a lot more than 3hp if you have regular access to better fuel.

If we ignore all the 3bhp's as irrelevent, we would get nowhere. My car produces about12 bhp more than many others with similar specs and I believe it is the sum of all the "3's". I can tell the difference that 12 bhp makes!
In addition, fuel efficiency is really important to me and I hate seeing an engine run any richer than needed. This isn't a cost thing. IMO it should be a matter of pride by the tuner.
In all the threads on this subject, this is probably the best bit of wisdom we have seen (BTW, I am very level headed as I have a chip on both shoulders )

He would have won the sprint race if the Marshalls hadn't determine that he jumped the start (from the pole however that can happen???) and given him a stop and go penalty. It was later found that they did that because they enjoyed watching him slice through the field. He finished 8 seconds back and if it were 2 laps longer he would have passed the leader.

(I just finished putting my car's original '93 Supercup livery on. Sorry for the crappy pic, car can't be moved right now as Bilstein is rebuilding my shocks/struts...)

Must be a cup car thing - i have the last 8 years of Pirelli calendars hanging in mine (07 on the way)
Back to more serious things
Update on my brain -
the 92 cup usa uses the 483 Euro RS DME - so my chip will not work in your car. I can send you the Chip next week if you still want to check it out.
let me know
BTW.... My Cup Ran for the 1st time in 3 years today - next step is cleaning the injectors (tuesday), verify the DME wiring is correct (it is wired into the kill switch), and finish the ABS defeat switch install on Tuesday. Then it might come home after that.

Bob, your Tag livery is the most famous for the 964 Cups so I wouldn't be too jealous. (But, thanks!)
