Howdy All,
I just bought a 92 US Carrera Cup Car. I have owned every possible configuartion of early 911's but the is my first "modern" Porsche. Looking forward to taking delivery and running the new beast on the track. Any other US Cup car owners please say hello. I'll post the obigitory pics once car shows up.

Great - Love to see some pics of the Cup car when it arrives. I used to take my car to Andial way back when these cars were lined up in their lot being prepared.

Your commute from MI to AZ must be killer, is that why you picked up the Cup car?

Hello Phil ... and congratulations! They are absolutely fabulous cars. Have fun getting acquainted. When do you actually take delivery?

Phil,
Not sure if we have coonected yet but My self and Bob run the PCA USA Cup registry
(see my sig for the web site)
sorry if any of this is a repeat - my mind must be going then.

What Number is your car (either Andial # or last 4 of the VIN would be great)

Thanks everyone,
This is car 0551 Plaque # 92006. The history as I know it - Sold by Jim Ellis Porsche to Kelly Moss 02/1993, converted back to race car specs 6/04/93 by Andial for about 20K. Purchased by Karl Singer who raced car in an unknown series, motor and tranny freshen up 1995. PCA log book issued 9/99 to Sam Menegas ran one PCA RA event. Car sold to Ted Arneson 3/00 and sold to me 12/18. Has run only DE's for last 5 years. I will hopefully have car in a week or two, I am going crazy waiting. If Christmas was not soon I would on my way to Chicago w/ trailer picking it up. Also I need to up date my profile I am no longer working in MI but in Bozeman, MT if there are any skiers or flyfisherman out there.
Happy Holidays,
Phil

Congratulations! You will really like the car.

I bought #004 in October from the original owner, a friend who had it converted to race configuration when he bought it in '92. (#94 in the avatar, as our Region won't allow #4 on the track...a long story).
