Default Front Splitter

Hey All,
Am looking for a source for a front splitter that closely resembles the factory Technology part. Mostly concerned with a good fit and not too much additional fab work. Already tried one from a supposed good source and it fit like s**t. Seen some pretty nice ones out there but not sure how much work people have had to go through. Thanks for any input

I'm not sure what the "technology part" looks like, but the one from Ruf is alleged to fit nice.

I'm looking into buying one also. Can you let me know which you bought that didn't fit well so I don't repeat the mistake? If you are uncomfortable posting the name to the list, please PM me the name. -thanks

Hmmm...maybe the Ruf non turbo body fits well, but I can attest to the fact that the RUF one on my turbo body does not fit well. The Ruf made for my car seems to be maybe an inch too long and bows out at one end or the other. Took it to Ruf in Dallas and we kinda made it fit, but it is by no stretch of the imagination a good fit.

Does anyone have any experience with the front spoilers offered by Rennspeed? Fit? Quality?

I bought the carbon fiber 'RS' splitter from them. I didn't like the way it fit so I sold it on eBay. I took a hit on the selling price. It would be better for a track car, where sometimes looks don't matter.

I bought those a couple years ago. They fit pretty good. The hard part was lining them up to drill the holes to mount them. You will need to buy some longer screws then the existing plastic spoiler has as it stays in place. The finish was good with minimal filling and sanding. I painted mine black out of a can but think I will paint them white.

Have you checked availability of the factory Technology/Tequipment splitters? They still show up in the latest price list and they are guaranteed to fit properly which is something no aftermarket vendor can claim.

i got the techart kit .
not sure if the porsche one is made by techart , i have the info at home , but i think it is the same part .

got 9m to fit it , but it looks a quality "factory" part and picks up existing mountings and has vents as well .

I bought the RUF Lip AKA splitter and it fit great. Used existing attach points and cam supplied with longer screws. Looks great and was easy to install.

I took delivery last night of my 3.8 RSR Two Piece Splitters from Rennspd. The pasts are nice and the fit is pretty clean out of the box. It will take a little work to install since you have to drill the holes in each of the splitters and paint etc . I personally am more than happy to do the work for the result. I will post some pictures once done.
