Default Anyone remember Robert Linton's user name?

Have not been on this forum for quite a few years after I sold the 964. Wonder if anyone can remember off hand Robert's user name... I want to search and find out whether or not he ever completed his ultimate 964 convertible....

I'm not sure it's ever going to be "completed" - which is a good thing since it means we get regular updates / pics.

Yes... We marvel at his parts and pieces too. I think the last was a carbon fiber fan blade.

I have been a bit under the weather for 24 months but am bouncing back and hope to complete by January (all that remains is a few parts). Recently, by the way, we did complete a part not originally planned -- the entire windshield wiper movement assembly in titanium. Thank you for your patience.

Oh yes, thanks for that John ;p

Don't know why I didn't think of the obvious.... it had something to do with his avatar and the "Cartridge" thing... kept searching under a non obvious name...

Robert, hope all is going ok now. Look forward to catch up on the progress of the car!

Titanium wiper movement? lol, that's just obscene!
Hope your recovery continues. 24 months is a long time. Guess I don't need to tell you that.
Take care.

Thumbs up

Best of health to you Robert. By the way your prototype starter is still working fine on my tiptronic. Aprox 2,000 miles of normal operation

Though not for a Porsche, this is a picture of some 4130 tube anti roll bars ready for shot peening and electroless nickel coating. Being tubes, the ends are welded on. This is what welding should look like, i.e., like it wasn't.
