These RS wheels as the same as the Tequpments one as fitted in the 968 CS part number 000 043 163 00 8YR. The only difference apart from the colour scheme is that the Tequipment ones has an embosed Porsche badge in the leather. The ones with a stick-on Porsche badge are after markets and not original.

Don't know - mine does not have either neither does the 968 CS down the road - which I know is factory fit.

Someone might be right about it being off a comfort model as they are much better than the standard 964 wheels with or with the RS boss.

Firstly, there wasn't a "comfort" model of the RS. There was a version called "touring" which could be described as "comfort". However, I doubt it comes off that because it doesn't have the airbag.

Option M018 =
M018 Sports steering wheel with elevated hub 30mm

Here is one that was on the 'bay that was part of a very special car

And here is what is on the Trophy Cup cars - looks to be a momo monte carlo.

finally, you can buy the 993 version rs wheel here

Hope this helps.
Talking about this one.

That wheel style is made by Atiwe and comes with various branding, I believe that particular one is a one-off.

Can anyone confirm that part number 000 043 163 00 will fit a 964?

that would mean it is the same as the 968 CS steering wheel also used in 964 speedster with part number 968 347 084 00

or is it just the boss that is different?

Thanks

That is correct, 000-043-162-10-8YR comes with the 964 boss.

Edit: Corrected!

How does this wheel differ from the 968 347 084 008YRE 930s wheel?

00004316300 will not fit any other car except a 928, it will not fit a 964 or 968 as it comes with a 928 fitting boss

The wheel however is the same as the ones for the 964 and 968 so if you have the 928 version you can swap the boss over easily enough

The wheel is the same - referred to as the Clubsport and made by Atiwe, I believe the boss on that part number is for the 968.

Type911UK, is right, I posted the wrong PN, sorry about that!

The 964 part number is 000-043-162-10-8YR - https://www.classicshop.porsche.com/...3162108yr.html
