Default Interior light

Happy Holidays!

My interior light is not working I have 2 wires positive and one negative.
One + wire has 10 v the other 0 v door open or closed.
Any thoughts?

Have you tested your door switches? The interior light should have constant power. Does it light when you set it to on manually? If not, check your fuse. If yes, then the fault is most likely one or both of your door switches. They work by grounding the light circuit when the door is open. The easy way to test is, open the door, remove the door switch. You should have 12v at the switch. Then ground it, the interior light should go on. I've found that a simple cleaning can fix the switch.

It is a little strange I have 10v instead of 12v
