Default RS steering wheel parts

Hi

Does anyone know if you can get parts for the RS type steering wheel.

The parts I need are the small black plastic plugs that screw onto the horn push contacts, the actual horn push fits onto the small black bits.

Thanks

Rob the original 964 RS steering wheel is the same as the standard unit expect that the Push horn bit says RS instead of Porsche. If its another other sort of steering wheel it might be from a 993 RS or another sort like the 968 CS sport wheels.

Any chance of a picture?

The USA cup wheel is identical to the momo mod07. It can be found online for < $200. Then you can get the little horn puck with the Porsche logo to fit.

Here is a pic of the original RS wheel. The original thread is here.

PartNums:

928 347 084 08 Steering wheel with elevated hub Carrera RS M018
928 347 084 07 Steering wheel Carrera RS

Option M018 =
M018 Sports steering wheel with elevated hub 30mm

Here is one that was on the 'bay that was part of a very special car

And here is what is on the Trophy Cup cars - looks to be a momo monte carlo.

finally, you can buy the 993 version rs wheel here

Hope this helps.

Thanks

It's the second one "bay that was part of a very special car"

Mine is an aftermarket one, but exactually the same.
The bits I need are under the horn push pad three small screws that screw through a small plastic bit for the horn contact. I need the screws and small plastic bits.

The coloured RS one is the same as I have, except the leather is the 3 different grey/black colours of my seat cushions. It has Porsche embossed in the same manner. I hadn't seen another like that until now. Does anybody know the "story" behind these steering wheels?

The tri-colour recaros were the standard seat in the "basic" RS. I guess what you are calling the comfort is the "Touring" and they didn't have the recaros.

I am not sure whether these wheels were a proper Porsche factory option or not.
