Default Anyone have a DME for sale?

Does anyone in Canada/US have a spare DME they are looking to sell? Preferably one of the later 964 numbered ones. (Oh ya and cheap cause I'm already broke! )

Tom,
Sent you a PM.

Indy
I figured that would be option B, if there wasn't a quicker alternative.

Strike that. $750 bones plus a $200 core charge. Ouch!

964-618-115-01 is from an early model year MY90(?) tiptronic possibly before the 2-pin transmission plug was added? and 964-618-124-00 was used for a brief period at the very beginning of MY91. I would read THIS before bidding!

If anyone finds a place that will check and fix (if needed) please let me know. The two places I thought would won't help me (systemsc and otto).

Vertex had great prices on rebuilt and even new ones a year, year and a half ago.

Otto's is a dealer for Systemsc so I'm guessing they actually send their control units (like every other shop on the west coast) to Loren. What aren't they willing to do for you?

Jason,

I suspect my AFM is faulty and without swapping it out with a known working one, or getting someone to verify the operation of mine it will remain a suspect. I simply want it verified for stock operation and if it isnt right returned to stock calibration.
