Hi guys, are any of you going to the Porsche show this weekend?
I'm going on Saturday, free tickets from Goodwood when we joined PCGB.
Hope to see you there.
Cheers.

I'll be there. Hopefully a few more Rennlisters will show up.

Tempting though it is, why would I want to give up the opportunity to drive to Eurotunnel on Friday evening (on a bank holiday weekend) so that I can drive half way across France (in the Focus, not the Porsche because we have to take the dog with us) so that I can spend Saturday to Tuesday visiting my girlfriends dad / stepmother?

I might go, depending on whether I can get a lift from a female.

Ha ha - that could work!

I have asked a lady who was at Le Mans if she would pick me up - if she does fine - if she doesn't then I am not going. I am difficult like that

I'm going on Saturday, minus the 964 unless I can cure the massive missfire issues it picked up at the Bedford track day.

Hope the weather is decent - Standing around in a field when it's pi$$ing with rain ain't gonna be fun!!!

I would be there but I doubt I can get a flight back from sunny Spain and my wife has said that if I do, it's clear evidence of OCD WRT Porsches and it would be grounds for divorce!

Hope you all have a great time.

Is it me or does this year's agenda look extremely lame? What has a dispay of Falconry got to do with Porsches? Last year's had some pretty cool racing at least. This year it's go karts.

I must admit, I'm feeling much the same. Being at Brands for the last 2 years has kinda spoilt me. It was, I believe, at Eynsham in 2003 but I didn't go then. From what I've seen mentioned elsewhere the stately home venue just puts a different light on it although personally I'll miss the racing.

There was a lot of disquiet on the PCGB forum when it was announced that it would be at Eynsham this year with many, many people advocating a racing format at another circuit (Brands was, apparently, very expensive for the Club). Also many felt that Brands was too far South for those from North of Watford and somewhere like Donnington might be more central for many.

I guess we'll just have to see how it pans out.

Regards

Dave

Dave, A glimpse of the yellow peril is worth the entry fee alone!

Do you have to be a Porsche club member to go? and how much is admission. Cant find any details other than dates and open times.
