I guess existing ProMAX chip customers get the new version of the chip free of charge!!

Did those dyno plots develop at some point and I missed them?

Same question... and I like the way you think Pingo.

I just bought one when you ran your sale. Obviously the "new and improved" version was in the works when the sale was on.
I hope there is a plan to take care of the folks who purhased the "old" chip.

Waiting to hear. Thanks.

...and I'm looking forwards to getting my free copy of Microsoft Vista too as I'm sure it was in the works when I bought Windows XP!

So what is the real story from those of you that have this chip, is it worth putting in? My car has no mods other than open intake with K&N and deleted secondary exhaust..

Edit - from the ProMax site it looks like they are only made for C2's up to 1992 anyway..

Gary R,I haven't even put the thing in yet... but as I have said before, I am not expecting miracles. If I can "feel" a smoother power curve through the range of even an increased "useable" power range, I will be thrilled.

I am rather concerned at the timing on the release of the new chip. Sale last month, new ship this month. I could have waited for the new chip...

I understand your comment Marc and would agree normally, however, when Microsoft releases a new OS you KNOW they won't release another new OS next month. Also, you will get downloadable upgrades to handle improvements in the OS you already paid for.

I will withhold further comment until we hear Andrew's response to this. Hopefully I am just being paranoid.

I emailed ProMax and Andrew emailed back to confirm that the 964 chip will work in my 93 C2.

Details of my install are here.

No dyno plot as my alternator died and had to be replaced so I did not get to the dyno. I have another 3 hours booked in August (the closest 4-wheel dyno is 10 hours away) so I will post plots once I have them.

Didn't andrew say he'd put up some dyno plots?

Marc my comments about the plots were not directed at you. I know you promised as well, but its not your product for sale.
