remote keyless entry
i am considering adding keyless entry but sticking wwith the factory alarm (why mess with success as they say)
searching the topic i found people hooking it up to the alarm system which i thought odd as the alarm is activated by the locks - why not just hookup directlyto the auto lock relay system. i believe this is located in the tunnel ahread of the gear shift? any one have any ideas on how i could hook it up to that?
my car is an 89 c4 that hass the alarm box in the passenger side front hvac area.
thanks
frank
(apologies on spelling and grammar - typing with wrong hand only as right shoulder has type 3 seperation - don't ask, its embarassing)

I just tapped a couple of wires on the Alarm Box (under the dash on pass. side) and power and ground from under the seat. You have to make sure that the keyless control box has negative line activation. The locks arm the factory alarm.
Here's how I did mine (just in case your search didn't already turn up this thread).
