HID Xenon upgrade - photo
Upgraded my headlights to HID Xenon, using the kit from www.hids4u.co.uk The kit is very well made and is an easy DIY job.
Photo shows the difference after we'd just finished one side...

Rob,
Any drilling required? and are these Bi-Xenon??? links if you could to the product would be great, my other contact didn't give me what I wanted, so I'm still in the hunt.

Yes, they are Bi-xenon. I'm not sure which kit - I emailed Ian at HIDs4U (sales@hids4u.co.uk) and he sorted out the right one for me.
On the drivers side, we used the existing wiring grommet, as it is situated on the inner-wing side of the headlamp bowl.
On the passenger side, the grommet for the existing wiring is on the outer wing side, so we drilled a hole on the inner-wing side to make it easier. The kit is supplied with the grommets.
That was the only difficult bit. The supplied wiring simply connects to the existing wiring plug and the HID bulb assembly is a direct replacement for the H4.

...of course my H4s had themselves been upgraded - to 130w main beam....and they still look dull compared to the HIDs.

The little grey box is that just dangling there or have you fixed it in place?
Did you by any chance take any pics of where you drilled the hole for teh passenger side? cheers

I've had this done as well. Only glitch is that my rev counter sometimes goes dead after i switch on lights. Someone said it could be the extra electrical load. If I wait a moment after starting the car, then turn on lights doesn't seem to be a problem. Has anyone else come across this?
