The Porsche seal kits include replacement pistons that you don't really need so I would just order the dust boots & pressure seals from StopTech for $50USD/caliper. And if we could find a Brembo dealer that actually had a clue it would be even cheaper.

The Brembo part numbers on the packaging for the spring plates are:

Porsche #993-352-959-01 Brembo #120468310
Porsche #993-352-959-00 Brembo #120468311

The dust boot part number is visible on the outside face of the boot. So the only problem now is finding the part numbers that correspond to the color splotches on the pressure seals.

Pesty, I'm looking for sources as well, and have found somewhere who can do 30mm, 36mm and 40mm piston seals for £1.90 each - they're still looking for 28mm seals, and the dust boots. It's http://www.biggred.co.uk/ - here's the last email I had from them:

Hi, Sorry for delay i have piston seals for 36,40 & 30 mm pistons £1.90 each. The 28mm we cannot offer it is one i`m currently trying to source.

With regards to the dust covers we have found in the past this is almost impossible to do without the actual caliper.

The piston bore size does accurately pinpoint the dustcover required.

In most cases Brembo use a metal/Rubber hard dust cover, we can in some cases offer a rubber cover with retaining ring.

But the area to locate the ring varies on different models and without seeing the unit in question its not possible to discern if we have suitable units.

Regards

Well as per this discusson:
https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...light=stoptech

It looks like stoptech is missing the 30mm/28mm kit.

Ian Thanks for that.
if it helps I have a full set of calipers sat in a drawer at work. do you think it would help them?

I was planning on getting them cleaned up and painted/powder coated and then replacing the seals etc.

after ive painted them i could remove seals and post them the old ones or depending on where they are drop em off a front and rear caliper

Ok more info you you UK guys.

looking on the stoptech website I tried 4 of the UK supliers of stoptech products listed.

2 numbers were dead
1 answered but had never heard of stopstek

then abby motorsport came through. but its not good.

email said

"located caliper repair kits, part ref 89-100-3640.
Do you require one or two kits,One kit to each caliper
Price for each kit £60.00 plus vat,Delivery aprox £7.50"

£148.50 including VAT and postage is it April fools day?

For our american friends thats aprox $270.68 USD Talk about Rip off Britain!

will phone up that place Ian has been talking to today and see if I can arrange driving down there and dropping of some calipers.

Cheers Pesty, would be good if you could get the calipers over to BiggRed.

That Abby motorsport price works out more than getting them direct from Porsche - I think the OPC quoted me about £12.50+VAT per piston for seal and dustcover, and £15 per spring plate kit.

Ok just phoned a place called GPR distribution who are apparenly the people who import all brembo products to suppliers in the UK.

Phone number 01327 855 585

they have dust covers for 40mm and 36 at £10.80p +vat each

seal kits come in 8's of each size and are 46.61 +vat

so for £110.72 would be enough to do 4 front calipers. + dust seals

Perhaps Ian If Big red doesnt work out we may have to go halves.
