That's a beautiful machine. Love the wheels. I don't normally like the 3.8RS spoiler on narrow-body cars but yours looks great.

is this normal? I’ve heard the RS had 280hp? Please feel free to comment on this.
This implies that the DME has been remapped. Standard was 260 bhp although it is common to see them with a bit more. At the power level you quote, you will sometimes find that a "hot film" conversion has been done.

The air mass sensor has seen better days and is not working properly (slow reaction when idling), maybe I’ll change to hot film.
How is it possible to find out about remapping of the DME?

Just noticed that the cars have different rear bumper centers.

Anyone know which one is correct the standard flat unit or the RS center.

My money is on the standard unit.

Nice one Barth! But why is it in the garage and not on the car? I have to admit I didn't spot the wrong bit in the photo but now it's been pointed out, it sticks out like a sore thumb!!

I love the color had a 72 S that was raseberry rose, very similar color. We do have a few of those RS's over here in states but our's were all white except one red one.

Default Porsche

and now the car is in switzerland.

Im looking for information on the car and the history. Which races were run? When the car involved in an accident? Old photos?

I'm looking forward to a lot of information ----
