Default Blue 964's

I thinking about doing a color change on my car. The color I'm considering is I believe called Riviera Blue. I've seen pics of differant blues and the other one that confuses me is Maritime Blue. Does anyone have good pics to compare the colors.

Doesn't it de-value the car when you spray it a different color other than the original? I heard 10% give or take.....

My car has a salvage title. Value is out the window. I want to make it the car I want it to be. Besides there are plenty of black RSA's out there, I've never seen one in Riviera blue.

I suppose if you plan on keeping the car forever....then you're right...who cares. But it might be a difficult sell later on.

In mbrouder's case...it probably wouldn't matter.

I agree....you don't see too many blue 964's around, especially RSA's....

Riviera blue is the color. The problem I was having was the only pic I could find of Maritime blue was taken with cloud cover. Riviera blue with black and polished Fikse Profil 5S's. Next step is to get a couple quotes. I would want it done right, door jams and everything. I'd probably have to change the door pulls and seat belt to blue also.

Mbrouder, Riviera Blue was never actually specified as a 964 colour.................. Maritime Blue was.

B,

Good idea and a unique look for a stateside car. I'd like to do a project car in Mexico or Gulf blue.
