You can replace the bulb.
First pry off the cap, not shown.
Then use some heat shrink tubing along with needle nose to grab the bulb and pull.
Replace with new one.

Not on mine, it won't work. My bulb is not burned out. There is no wire to the terminal on the switch.
Your bulb puller is great, however. I never thought of that.

My 91 does not light up either. I think I heard on the board several years ago that the factory disabled the switch light because it caused a glare in the side mirror and was distracting to the driver.

If anyone desires to make that light work, you will need the special connectors in the plug receptacle. Then you can wire out from 31 to ground for constant light or for switched light, you can run 31 to the switched portion of a relay and run a line from 56K to the coil side of the relay. Then the light will only be on when you have switched your lights on.
