Default New 911 SSE turned up today!!

My new project car turned up today, it's a 911 SSE in what I believe to be Prussian Blue with Linen inside.

It needs lots of work including a full bare metal respray, and a new inside!

I've decided on a triple colour like the 959 inside so have attached some samples from the trimmers.

Nice. Subtle colours. I'm sure Ms Deneuve would approve...

Im sure someone recently asked this but is a 911SSE a 930 here in canada?
Looks like a 930/911 Turbo.

Its VERY pretty.

But back to the interior stuff: Where are you planning on using the three colours? dark blue for dash & doors and two tone for the seats?
What about the carpets?
I have never seen the interior of a 959 so I dont know what they look like. (None in canada)

I think it's known as a 930 in a few countrys but it's called a 911 SSE or Supersport Coupe. I've attached a picture of a 911 Turbo S ltd edition interior for you to see what I plan to do, and also a 959 interior.

The carpets will become Blue to match the headlining and main colour of the seats, and doors will get the flashes of the colours too along with the rear seats.

It's like the main colour is blue with grey then silver the off whit to the inner part of the seat so four colours in all. this was houw the factory finished opff ltd edition cars and also the 959's.

An SE is the same engine spec as a 930S but without the slantnose and rear slatted intakes, correct? Great looking car! What year is it?

SSE is a non-turbo i believe - a Carrera SSE with with the Turbo look package "Super Sport Equipment" in GB which only place it was marketed as such. The 930 turbo SE (sport equipment) was another Porsche Cars GB edition with a flat nose and priced in the £93K range.

It's body and brakes/suspension/trailing arms, etc are all Trubo, but the engine is a 3.2/G50 gearbox combo, as factory spec. It's an original, with not that many produced hence it's rareness.

It's an 87 ' Reg in the UK.

Looks a bit dark for Prussian blue, could be Dunkel blue or Marine (but '88 model year colour)?

Hmm. I didn't know such a car existed, apart from the M491 which I believe had the Turbo body but not the brakes and suspension.
