Thanks.
Bought the house when I was single. Unfinished 20x40 Colonial.....I mean unfinished, just a weather tight frame. Worked on it every night after work, got married, got the baby's room and kitchen finished (my wife and I slept on surplus Army cots and had patio furniture for kitchen furniture for a few years)....finally finished it after about 7 years.

Looking forward to the kids growing up, moving out, selling it so I can buy my dream house.....8 car heated garage with a room on top....that's it.......dont' really know what the wife will want, but that's all I want

Lewis .. the car still looks great ...also why do you need a new bumper/spoiler? That one looks like it is in good shape.

Couple of cracks/scrapes/chips from loading/unloading/track/stupid things.
That picture was when I just got the car from Jim.....now there's a few pieces of red racer's tape here and there.

Since I'm not driving the car this season, I thought it might be a good time to get a new nose/get this one repaired a bit.

Geoffrey,

At the risk of getting somewhat OT, I'm interested in what you wrote re the 3.8 wing being unacceptable PCA CR rule-wise this year. And what you wrote about the requirement that it be replaced w/ the electric auto wing.

Is the RSA style wing not acceptable in GT2C in place of the 3.8 wing? Do you happen to know which wing is currently acceptable in E or D? Or does that also now have to be the electric auto wing?

If you could direct me to the specific rule change, I'd be appreciative. Many thanks.

Nothing.
Will be spending a lot of time with my son at the local outdoor kart track. He's moved up from 80cc Cadet (8hp) to 125cc (20hp) Junior Rotax (new class, new engine, new chassis.....LOTS of new stuff to learn).
I'm doing 3 day Skippy School end of this month at Laguna Seca and I may try and pick up a few DE's during the weekdays...if I can fit them in, otherwise, the Cup car gets a long nap.

The GTC classes are preservation classes and the cars must be run in the same trim as the Carrera Cup or Super Cup series. As such, the 964 Cup car never ran with the 3.8RSR wing or RSR winglets on the front bumper. I know PCA is going to enforce that for this year where in the past years they have not. The GTC-2 class can run the factory 993 Cup car wing since they were run in 96&97. 95 had only the electric wing, but since updating and backdating is allow within the class, the wing is legal on 95s.

In C or D you can run any tail you want as long as it is not a wing and conforms to the rules on tails. Therefore, a 3.8RSR wing is illegal, but if you remove the center wing and replace it with a curved piece of metal it is legal since it conforms to the tail rules.

I like the cars with wings and spoilers and Greg, I like your car.
