That car is such a proper looking car. Were the settings that you finally decided were correct something you could apply to other cars with the same components or is it vehicle specific?
Suspension questions are so hard to answer. It's one of those ask 50 people get 40 different preferences. If you like the way I like my car setup then yes it can be replicated. But it is more than just the MCS. The car has 993 uprights, full HD bushings with the MCS and monoball perches. Wheel weight comes into play as well the Fikse's are only 16.5 and 19 pounds 8&10x18". I also run 993TT front brakes which adds unsprung weight back. She also weighs 2900 pounds with full tank of gas since I removed my sunroof which changes the character of the car. All this factors into how the car feels and responds.
I also run RS+5mm if I go lower it would be far more harsh and I would bottom out more on NJ's wonderful roads.
Looking great Anthony. I'm getting ready to put my MCS in with very similar components. What compression and rebound settings did you end up going with? Also how did you about deciding on your final settings?
A few weeks ago I had mine corner balanced, aligned, new Michelins and detailed. What a difference to the ride and the love....you forget how much these cars give back with a bit of attention. Thanks to my friends at Hub Racing.
