Some pictures from the first fun run of the new year taken by a photographer (@yourridehere) that tagged along. We were fortunate to have incredible weather for this one. Even with the more modern Porsches on hand the 964’s held their own!

Wish I lived in Socal!
I ditched the 27k mile 996 GT3 for a 3100 mile 997.2 4S PDK so I could drive it the Chicago area more in worse weather. Not regretting it now because I didnt want to risk the GT3 on the road.
And driving the gray ghost in the winter with sport cup 2's would be a no no.
Most likely an 89 3.2L WB speedsters with some work. Never liked the NB speedsters but the WB versions are another story. Too bad they only made 6 WB 964 speedsters.

Do you know what wheels the white ROW 964 is wearing?

They’re 17” Fuchs, real deal. Also the fender lights are deceiving, the owner added these after the fact. It sounds great too, he sourced the exhaust from a small supplier in Europe.
time to add my babe; all original, have it for a year now and love it. Low mileage and all working just fine.
however it starts to itch to lower her a bit as I feel she stands a bit high. Is it possible to lower the car without changing the shocks?
and I love those new Fuchs wheels, so one day...
I would not use lowering springs with stock shocks. The work is nearly the same as swapping out the struts and springs with a set of Bilstein (HD) B6's and H&R springs. You will thank yourself for doing it right.
