to each their own - part of what makes this hobby awesome is the individualization of these cars and the fact that it’s more accepted recebtly. It always surprises me when someone pops in and acts like their opinion is the only opinion.
except for the most gaudy execution, I don’t really raise an eyebrow at anything any more.

I guess I just don't get why someone would come into a "picture thread" and feel the need to say you don't like the car. I get the whole function over form thing, but not everyone tracks their cars. When I bought my 964, it had previously been tracked for 20 years. I pulled the roll bar out, sold the GT3 seats and re-installed the rear seats. As it sits now, it is more form over function for ME as I get more use out of the car now. Just a different perspective I guess. BTW, nice cars.

Sincere apologies if I offended someone. That was never the intention.

We all know what it means, therefore it’s not applicable here. Perhaps you need to update your internet speak to the modern era.

How about nothing? We have a diverse array of 964 enthusiasts in here and most of us respect that. There are plenty of people in here that share your views on ride height just like there are plenty that share mine.

The pasha fabric is a nice touch. Had that on my 80 Euro 928.
I appreciate we all have our likes and dislikes and have our specific passion over how we like to see our cars, however I have to question your comment on "a few turns from being track ready" at that height or event 15 mm higher. The geometry of a 964 IMO at that height just doesn't work with stock parts and custom shocks. Any 964 can be tracked and they are quite capable for their age. Being fast takes more than ride height and tires.
I have been tracking a 964 for 15 years and have a monster setup widebody 3.8RS tribute dedicated track car I still track. (although it is currently undergoing a full engine rebuild and new turbo setup) A well setup track duty 964 requires a lot of parts and work that IMO makes the car unbearable on the street and even a bit abusive on the track at RS height. There are pros and cons to lowering these cars this much without major component changes other than shocks and springs and an optimal setup to maximize the most potential these cars offer. If you have done things other than custom shocks a list of what was done would be insightful.
Otherwise clearly a lot of passion on your part making the car how you like it and although it is not my taste shows a lot of pride in ownership.

More pictures, less philosophy.
