Interesting, red engine shroud? Nice and clean ready for Concours.

I would expect after 60k miles my fan would have some chips but somehow it has survived without any nicks or scratches.

Some nice engines not much I would do with the plastic intakes but the metal ones color coordinated look great. Opo Nice example I am assuming it is low mileage.

I like the work but what is going on with the air flow for the ventilation system? You have the A/C compressor but how does the system circulate and flow without the fan or bypass pipe?

Nasty engine pics? I got a whole table full of that!

I can build a boxer 12 cylinder with the parts on that table, haha.

It's no heat. AC works fine. CCU is always at Max Cold, so the interior fans work properly. It's the same idea as the Rennline fan delete kit.

Except I had my dad cut out a duct block-off plate from aluminum using a cardboard pattern I created off of the blower piece. Then I drilled some holes for the distributor and taillight vents. On the engine tin side, I used a large diameter rubber plug from the hardware store.

You lose a bit of engine cooling capacity w/o the rear blower, since it blows heat out the rear wheelwells, but that's the same trade-off as the RS duct since heat isn't actively being pulled out of the shroud.

LOL, it sure is the cleanest engine I've ever owned. I think the red engine shroud is the builder's signature (notice one hanging on the wall in the photo below). The intake stacks and fan were painted silver.

Love your car Ken, it's what my car (we both have Slate G.) wants to be when it grows up. Duck and all.

Bet no one has this option.
